Superior sits about ten minutes from downtown Duluth and several hours from most of Wisconsin. That geography leaves local businesses choosing between a vendor in another state and a Wisconsin company driving up from far enough away that windshield time gets priced into every single visit. Neither option looks obviously right on paper, which is why the question comes up so often here.
Functionally the Twin Ports is one market with a bridge through the middle of it, and we work Superior on exactly that basis. Port and freight facilities, warehouses, industrial buildings, downtown storefronts, offices and the visitor properties out toward Barker's Island all get a written scope, assigned crews and a set inspection interval. The state line changes our paperwork rather than the work itself.
Being based at 26 E Superior St, Unit 4 means a Superior account gets the same response as a Duluth one, including a crew on site the same morning when something goes wrong overnight. Wisconsin is a separate state for licensing and tax purposes, and those obligations are handled properly on our side instead of being treated as a formality.
